Dell Children’s Announces $191M Northwest Austin Hospital
Dell Children’s announced May 7th they will be expanding into Northwest Austin with a new $191M, 135,000-square-foot children’s hospital. The new hospital will include emergency and trauma services, a pair of operating rooms, endoscopy and procedure rooms, sleep labs, extra space for future growth and a 60,000-square-foot medical office, according to an article written by Paul Thompson in the Austin Business Journal.
The ABJ article also notes that no incentives have been provided by Williamson County and none have been requested by Dell Children’s or Ascension Texas, according to Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell.

Other high-profile developments in the northwest Austin area include Apple’s new $1B campus off Parmer Lane (currently under construction) and the recently announced $450M Texas Children’s Hospital to be located off Lake Creek Parkway (set to open in 2023).
